Cruise ready 37’ Custom high latitude equipped center cockpit staysail sloop. Set up for single handing with electric primaries and all lines leading aft. Diesel heating system throughout, full electronics including forward sonar. Sleep 6 in two cabins; salon and pilothouse. Single head with shower. With an added lazarette aft and sail locker forward she has ample deck, cockpit and interior storage.Kashmir started life as a Finnsailer 34. The original design lent itself to the major refit that made the boat easier to single hand, and to prepare her for extended high latitude sailing. The results is this unique 37' Pilothouse Expedition Staysail Sloop.
The Kashmir of today bears little resemblance to her original self. Most significantly was the addition of the hardtop
pilothouse, with removable gullwing doors, a swim platform, rearrangement of the galley and main salon and significant rearrangement of the sail handling lines aft to secondary and electric primary winches. The boat was essentially stripped down to the hull, then rebuilt with all new systems and gear. Hayden Gozzard of the Gozzard brothers did the major fiberglass work. Many other marine professionals assisted with the boat systems and woodwork. Work was carried out between 2004 and 2019 at considerable expense. 
Before her refit Kashmir spent time in the Caribbean, and is thought to have crossed the Atlantic three times. Kashmir was not launched between 2004 and 2009 and was in fresh water from 2009 to 2019 as her refit continued. Since then, Kashmir has ventured far and wide, most recently plying the length of the St. Lawrence River, the island of Newfoundland and the "Big Land" of Labrador.
She is cruise-ready, and fully set up for her next big adventure.
